I invite you to join my two workshops, where we will explore and sharpen our creative tools and learn new ways to convey narratives in an unconventional way, while diving into the human experience.​


Workshop for actors |

The laboratory of the human expereince

In this workshop, dedicated to actors, we will learn how to decipher dramatic texts with tools from the world of writing, and a touch of psychology.
Together we will pinpoint the instincts hidden within the words and the actions of each character, their overt and covert desires, and see how everythings connects to the character's past.
We will try to figure out how to make unconventional choices, that will leave a strong emotional impression, while keeping the story as the focal point, instead of the performing actor.



Workshop for creators and playwrights |

The laboratory of the story

In this workshop, aimed towards writers and creatives, we will learn how to turn an idea to a living, breathing play or screenplay. First we will identify the log line, the most elementary narrative component, which answers the (annoying yet) essential question: What is it actually about?

Together we will create a synopsis, the infrastructure of our plot, and build it so it will always carry a dramatic interest: something to be lost, or something to be gained.
We will try to understand the roles of the different characters in our story, and how to write authentic dialogues that will bring them to life.

We won't shy away from some well known narrative structures and writing methods, but mostly we'll research intuitive, personal and spontaneous writing, and try to understand how to transform this primal, raw material to something precise, that will touch the audience and might have the potential for commercial success.
